5 Must Have Shoes for Spring

Level Up
This 70's shoe is the new rave this season and will be one of the most cherished items in my wardrobe! Platforms are an easy way to spice up a seemingly redundant outfit, while still remaining on the fine line between flats and heels.

Spring Showers
Who said that rain boots are only for cold winter rains? April is right around the weekend which means countless spring showers. {Slickers} seem to be another staple trend this season but I'd ratherhave dry feet! Check out these rain boots from the Marc by Marc Jacobs line.

FYI: MBMJ will reportedly no longer be its own entity. Instead Marc plans to rejoin the diffusion line with the main brand in hopes of growing the business and improving customers buying environment.

New Heights
My first pair of gladiator sandals barely rose above my shins. This season we are taking it to new heights with gladiator sandals being taller than before! Be careful when choosing the height for your sandals (like in my case you wouldn't want to end up making your legs look stumpy #shortpeopleproblems). Paired with boots or a spring dress, they are a perfect way to show off some leg.

Sporty Spunk
Working with sneakers helped me realize that every girl needs a statement pair. They don't have to be boring or only serve performance purposes. Give those daily flats a break while keeping it casual! Theres nothing that I love more than having a clean outfit to pair with an attention grabbing sneaker.

(Kate Spade Saturday, New Balance)

FYI: Kate Spade {Saturday} has a dazzling collaboration with New Balance and gives the  NB silhouette a makeover by manipulating primary colors and creating stunning graphic prints. Keep a lookout for a feature on the line!

Flat Line
If you're going to wear flats make sure they have a point to them. It is so easy to get caught up in wearing the same silhouette all the time. Give your everyday flats a sophisticated edge.
