How to Dress Up Your Career Girl Wardrobe with MM. Lafleur

Almost every girl has memories of playing dress up with family and friends. It was my favorite past time where my imagination seemed to take me on my own little journey. I had a nostalgic moment when playing dress up with my stylist (Kaitlyn) when I visited MM. Lafleur's showroom in NYC. MM. Lafleur strives to not only make great work wear, to revolutionize it. The women who work there are a varied group of go-getters who are all passionate about re-imagining the way women shop and dress for work.

During NYFW I had the pleasure of visiting their showroom in NYC and trying on a few pieces that any career girl would love, so you guys KNOW I had to share my experience with y'all! Seeing as I am pretty tiny, my stylist went ahead an pulled all my pieces in a 0P. I wanted to try a mix of dresses, separates, and sets, and Kaitlyn did a great job providing me with that variety.

What were my favorites?

The Rachel. I absolutely loved this dress and how it seemed to hug what little curves I had, while still maintaining enough modesty for the office. This would definitely be my go-to piece for a day-to-night look concerning activities that take place right after work.

The Toi Dress. I am constantly on the search for dresses that I can wear to church and this one matched my standards perfectly. It was so comfortable and could transition through the seasons with the addition of a jacket or a blazer.

The Taylor. Every girl needs an LBD and I loved the tied knot accent on the Taylor. I have a dress that is tied in a similar way, but not nearly as dressy, which is what I love about this piece. If you know me, then you will know that my favorite color is black so I felt the most comfortable in this dress! Knowing me I would wear it out to know end, making this a must have in my opinion!

I also tried...

The Pippa Pant and Harriett top. I love a good two piece set, but dresses seem to help with decision making which is the only reason this ensemble did not make my favorites list! It is super cute and definitely pulled out my inner executive. I love the Pippa pant which can be a great substitution for MML's culottes.

The Tina. I actually loved this dress--even though it did nothing for my body--but it was definitely a piece I would wear when I would just want to be airy and comfortable. The red hue gives it a bold tone but honestly I loved it because I could move around easily. This dress would be an amazing maternity staple.

Didion Top and Green point skirt. Another two piece set that I loved in black and would constantly mix-n-match with my Harriett top and Pippa pants!

Not close to and MML store? No problem!

The perks of the Bento Box?
