The buzz over Teen Vogue’s new editor-in-chief Elaine Welteroth took the social media world by storm with posts of congrats on Twitter, Instagram, and the like. The 29 year old is the youngest person to be appointed to her position in Conde Nast history, while also being the 2nd African American to ever obtain her title since the inception of the company 100+ years ago. Miss Welteroth’s resume speaks for itself: Beauty and Health Director of Teen Vogue since 2012, Senior Beauty Editor for Glamour Magazine, and Beauty Style Editor for Ebony Magazine. Anna Wintour showed her support for Miss Welteroth in a statement expressing her optimistic outlook she has for the future of the Teen Vogue team:
