Hello guys! The weather has finally chilled down and I think it is officially fall now, even though we never seem to know these days. Today I finally pulled out my suede over the knee boots that Bae got me for our anniversary (thanks love). They are made by Call It Spring and purchased from DSW. DSW is one of the best places to find shoes of almost any kind! I absolutely love my boots because they are different from the over the knee boots that I have seen on Instagram. They fit but are a little roomy in the leg which makes me happy because I want to be able to wear them as long as possible! They are actually really comfortable and the boot heel gives my short self a little extra height without limiting the wear to night time only.
In this look I wore a color blocked dress that I bought from Charlotte Russe last year but never seemed to photograph for some reason. This dress is SO easy to style and I have honestly worn it so much, which is why I am so annoyed at myself for not showing you guys it earlier (rolls eyes.) It is a simple shift dress that has just enough room without swallowing me whole and of course I had to throw a denim shirt on to keep it casual. This happens to be my newest denim shirt that I decorated during the Express U event!
The mornings have been unusually cold with less than chilly afternoons, so being able to transition during the day is definitely a must. To stay warm this morning I wore my Calvin Klein coat. I actually have several wool coats but I think this one has to be one of my favorites. I am totally against the “No White After Labor Day” rule, but if you are going to wear white out of season make sure that it is a statement piece. The coat alone speaks for itself, but layering helped give my outfit more dimension.
I loved this look so much and appreciated being able to be comfortable despite the temperature change today! If you have not already heard I started a Youtube Channel for The Strong Suit! Make sure you share and subscribe and head there for beauty and product reviews! Let me know if there are any questions you guys would like to know about me for an upcoming Q&A video!
