Whew! Y’all I know it has been a minute, and since we last talked I am officially a college graduate (applause and cheers)! All of my graduation festivities flew by so quickly and I took a few weeks to recuperate before jumping back into everything. With that being said, I hope you guys have enjoyed the start of summer, and to all of my 2017 graduates CONGRATS! I am so proud of you and wish you the best in your future endeavors!
Now onto to the accessory at hand. In my last post, where I hosted a giveaway with JORD, I talked about a necklace from Moon and Lola I was able to style along with my JORD watch. Today we will be talking about how I styled another one of my new favorite Moon and Lola pieces the Palm Coco earring. It comes in four other colors, but my favorite happens to be Robin’s Egg which reminds me of a Tiffany blue.
Tassle earrings add and element of elegance to every look! Here I chose to style it with a nude knit top I got from H&M and a floral skirt I thrifted years ago. Last year I styled this skirt with one of my favorite graphic tees (also from H&M) in my Straddling the Line post. I wanted to go for a cute look that could be worn on a date night, brunch with the girls, or even church! I made my earrings the focal point of my outfit so that my pop of color could draw attention to wear I want it: my face. My nude knit top played a major role in this look by keeping everything balanced.

The Palm Coco earring is one of my favorites because it does not just dangle like normal tassle earrings. It has a drop. That element in combination with the mini tassle makes it the perfect accessory that draw attention, but does not over do it like some other tassle earrings I have seen. You can purchase these babies at you local Moon and Lola stores or online here.
I plan on doing a series on everything tassle! From my Palm Coco Earrings shown here to a couple of other accessories that have tassles, it only seems natural since it is graduation season right? Make sure you keep an eye out for those upcoming posts! Also join me on instagram to tackle this tassle trend (@Genuinely_AA) and show me how you style your tassled accessories using the hashtag #tasslethat. I can not wait to see what outfits you guys come up with! Don’t forget that YOU can SAVE 10% off of any Moon and Lola goodies by using my discount code (AALSTON10)! Until next time!
