How To Travel In Style: Jean Jacket and Joggers

I had the most fun when I went to Charlotte! A few friends and I went for a birthday celebration and it was the perfect blend of fun and sightseeing. I really try to eat at a new place or walk around any city that I haven’t been to before and we had plenty of time to do that on this trip.

We toured the street art and murals in NODA (post coming on that soon), ate some amazing food (chicken and waffles), and the Airbnb we stayed in was amazing. Overall, it was a great trip and made me wish I had more than a weekend to spend! I love to be cute and comfy while traveling so I really had to think about what I’d like to wear while sight seeing.

I chose one of my favorite sweaters and a pair of joggers. These joggers are so old and believe it or not they used to fit a little tighter. They are beyond the point of being worn in now but still did the trick since it was a little chilly out. I threw my Just Black Denim blue jacket over it and put on a red lip, and tada!

You guys know that accessories can make or break a look, but with Moon and Lola I can never go wrong! The Ternes earrings from their Paris Collection make a perfect statement, and the olive and red lip compliment each other effortlessly (a match made)! I love statement earrings with updos or pony tails because it truly allows the jewelry to shine on its own. If you have not checked out the Paris Collection yet, you can here!

The finishing touches to this look for me where my cognac colored booties. I got them from DSW for under $50! They are Sam Edelman so that was a steal. Believe it or not, they are as comfy as they are cute which helped since I was making my way across the city.

When traveling it is important to make sure you have some element of comfort in your look, especially if you will be out all day. Not only will you feel better, but you’ll look better because you feel better, it’s a full circle type of thing.

What is your go-to look when traveling? Are you willing to sacrifice comfort for style or do you like a balance of both?!
