My Journey to Clear Skin with Clarisonic

For those of you who don’t know, June is Acne awareness month! I have personally fought acne since middle school (around the age of 12). I don’t know about you guys but I was one of those people who always wished for clear skin and pretty much tried every home remedy under the sun in order to get it. It has always been something that I am super self-conscious about, and as a result I take skincare and products that I use on my body very seriously. I have always wanted a Clarisonic to implement into my skincare routine, so of course you could understand my excitement when I was gifted a Clarisonic Mia and the acne brush head!!
During the last two weeks I have been trying out my new Clarisonic Mia and seeing how my skin has reacted when it comes to clarity, texture, and oil control. A lot of people I know have asked me “Why Clarisonic?” I know there’s a lot of dupes out here but nothing can ever beat the real thing. Clarisonic prides itself on providing sonic cleansing (NOT exfoliation) which can remove up too 6x more dirt, oil, and makeup compared to regular cleansing. The brush also helps increase the absorption rate of any of your skincare products such as toners, moisturizers, etc. , in addition to clearing up acne!
Steps to using your Clarisonic:

1. Wet your face and brush!
2. Apply your cleanser liberally, filling up at least the center circle.
3. Wash, wash, wash!

I absolutely loved my results from using my Clarisonic Mia! I used their cleanser for Acne Probe skin and followed up with a spot treatment and moisturizer every night. My problems areas such as my chin and forehead have cleared up and my skin has a natural glow even without makeup. I have seen the texture of my skin improve and become super smooth.

  • Wet your face and brush entirely
  • Apply your cleanser GENEROUSLY
  • Charge your Clarisonic for at least 24 hours before use
  • Store in a nice clean area

  • Share your brush head with anyone else
  • Use with an exfoliant

What are some of your favorite skincare tools to use?
