Woohoo! We made it you guys! Today marks the final day of the content consistency challenge. I want to thank everyone who took the time to read, comment, and share my blog posts from the last four weeks. I appreciate it and it doesn’t go unnoticed. I’m so proud of myself for finishing this challenge. It was tough, but it made me realize how important it is to stay consistent with my content and the benefits that consistency brings.
In the past, I used to publish blog content every blue moon. I might do once a month or twice a month if I’m lucky. I thought that if I wrote an amazing piece of content, my audience would stick around to read it. I was wrong.
During my wedding planning process, I feel off of blogging for months and my traffic suffered immensely. In May, I decided to hop back on the content creation train and dedicate myself to posting on Instagram daily. That didn’t really pan out how I planned, but this month I stuck with blogging the entire length of the challenge!
Since the beginning of this challenge I’ve secured several brand partnerships and was even able to raise my prices and get extra coin! I’m a witness that creating valuable content consistently is the key to getting opportunities and getting paid. If you’re still having a hard time figuring out why you need to schedule your content, here are a few benefits:
3 Benefits of Being Consistent
-Your consistency reflects your future dedication to brands and sponsors
-Your consistency will build a report with your audience
-Your consistency will help you get discovered by search engines and social media (SEO)
All of these things can lead to more sponsorships and higher-paid collaborations. I often have people ask me how I’m able to land collaborations at the rate that I charge and before now it was honestly during my spurts of consistency. Brands want to pay someone they know will deliver quality content.
If you can’t do that for yourself, then why should they think you can do it for them? If you’ve been lacking on your consistency game I hope this inspires you to jump back into it! The success you’re looking for starts with consistency and hard work!
How do you plan to be more consistent?
